Our digital services should be usable by everyone.
This information applies to the van Dijck GmbH website, including product information, contact channels, customer sign-in, media areas and the protected Oil Management service.
On 29 July 2026, the public website was assessed by technical and manual checks against the web-related requirements of EN 301 549 and the WCAG 2.2 success criteria at level AA. It is largely conformant with these requirements. The limitations listed below concern individual legacy documents and third-party content.
Description of the service
van Dijck provides information about cooking oils, frying fats, butter alternatives, specialty products, oil care, certifications and services for professional kitchens, trade and industry. Visitors can access product information, send enquiries and view media. After sign-in and activation, customers can also use Oil Management functions.
Legal and technical basis
The website is operated with the aim of meeting the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and its implementing regulation. EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) at levels A and AA are used as the technical benchmark. This information is not a certification by an accredited assessment body.
Measures implemented
- Semantic headings and regions, plus a skip link to the main content.
- Keyboard operation for navigation, dialogs, forms and media viewers.
- Clearly visible focus indicators and sufficiently large controls.
- Responsive presentation without horizontal page scrolling at common zoom levels; data tables remain horizontally operable as clearly labelled regions.
- High-contrast colours, meaningful link text and text alternatives for informative images.
- Reduced animations when the operating system requests less motion.
- Labelled form fields with appropriate input purposes and browser autocomplete support.
Known limitations
- The PREP brochure, German-language Oil Solution instructions and monthly HACCP template are not yet fully tagged as accessible PDF documents. Essential product, safety and form information is also available as HTML. An alternative version can be requested.
- The embedded YouTube videos provide automatically generated German captions. Because these have not been fully reviewed editorially, individual recognition errors may occur. The essential information is also included in the surrounding text and product pages.
- Some integrated shop and protected Oil Management components originate from separate applications. They are included in ongoing testing; any barriers can be reported using the contact channels below.
